About the Author
Grand Master Lillian Too is undoubtedly the world's most prolific and popular writer and advocate on living with good feng shui! She has written over 100 books that have been translated into 31 different languages, and over 10 million copies of her books have been sold worldwide. After graduating with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Lillian went on to pursue a highly successful business career in banking and finance in the 1980's in Hong Kong. Lillian soon decided to retire from active corporate life and return to Malaysia to raise her beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and spend more time with her family. Not what I expected

I'm sure this is a great book for someone totally in to Feng Shui. I guess I was hoping for more of a guide with good and useful suggestions. Since I don't plan to totally immerse myself and my life into Feng Shui, it just didn't work for me.

It Has Some Interesting Information but...

...is way overpriced for what it contains. First of all, I'm a real fan of Lillian Too and own quite a few of her other books. I just feel that while this book has a few really interesting parts, it was not the amazing book I expected for $26.00. The description made it sound much better than it is. If you want to plan for the Chinese New Year, get this month's copy of World of Feng Shui magazine (published by Lillian) instead. Also, some sections, like the one about the significance of moles, has been included in at least one of her earlier books. The implication of the title, Tung Sing 2013, means that one is expected to buy this book every year. For that reason and the style (annoying to read, to hold open), it should be priced lower.

By the way, for people who have read Lillian's other books, This one has no color pictures. I know some people may not care about pictures but I'm a very visual person and enjoy color images in my non fiction books.

It's an okay book if you don't care about price and don't wish to seek this information elsewhere.

The only thing more that would have been nice would be dance genre description but the writers's examples ...

Very succinct in his discussion of mixing. The Discussion of dance music structure was something I had not seen put in this straightforward of a fashion. And the writer was very clear on how to mix things up and go forward from standard structure to make your own dance tracks. The only thing more that would have been nice would be dance genre description but the writers's examples gives hints on directions to pursue.
I have more expensive books on the subject but they make my eyes glaze over. Maybe what this writer talks about is intuitively obvious to other people interested in making dance music but it hasn't been intuitively obvious for me.
This book has helped me 1000% improvement in dance music writing strategies and production fundementals. I can't recommend it more highly.

Basic but great tips!!

It's so cheap for kindle so for 5 bucks u can't go wrong. Filled with some pretty good tips and techniques for different settings for plugins. Definitely a read to augment so audio engineering skills if you make dance music.

The Awesome Choices You Need To Make

The Little Book of Karma is a great reminder of all that you know consciously and all that you have supressed subconsciously.
It highlights the fact that we have choice in all things but only when we remember to choose. If we don't choose then by default we have chosen to not optimize every situation and opportunity. Choosing or not both have consequences for our lives and opportunities.
This book brought to my attention many things that i needed to revisit. I recommend it without reservations of any kind.

Little book on karma is a big book on techniques!

This little book carries a huge message...and is explained in such a way that novices to Karma can understand. The authors explain the use of the word in many different religions and spiritualities of thought. From ancient terminologies to more modern usage, everything is covered. Exercises, meditations, and affirmations are laid out for easy adaptation. Well done!

Non-citizens should have freedom from arbitrary arrest, arbitrary killing, child labor, forced labor, inhuman treatment, invasions of privacy, refoulement, slavery, unfair trial, and violations of humanitarian law. Additionally, non-citizens should have the right to consular protection; equality; freedom of religion and belief; labor rights (for example, as to collective bargaining, workers' compensation, healthy and safe working conditions, etc.); the right to marry; peaceful association and assembly; protection as minors; social, cultural, and economic rights.

There is a large gap, however, between the rights that international human rights law guarantee to non-citizens and the realities they face. In many countries, non-citizens are confronted with institutional and endemic discrimination and suffering. The situation has worsened since September 11, 2001, as several governments have detained or otherwise violated the rights of non-citizens in response to fears of terrorism. This book attempts to understand and respond to the challenges of international human rights law guarantees for non-citizens human rights.

About the Author

David Weissbrodt is the Regents Professor and Fredrikson & Byron Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota Law School. He is a world-renowned scholar and teacher of international human rights law. He is the author of 200 articles, books, and monographs. In 2001 Weissbrodt served as the first United States citizen since Eleanor Roosevelt to head a United Nations human rights body when he was elected as chairperson for the U.N. Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights. For 2000-2003 the Sub-Commission also designated Weissbrodt the U.N. Special Rapporteur on the rights of non-citizens.
