No different from 7th edition

This book is no different than the cheaper, 7th edition. I hate when publishers release new editions when the only objective is to make profit at the expense of broke college students! The 7th edition is from 2009, and this 8th edition is from 2012. I had both copies and just for curiosity, browsed them both, compared the questions, compared many sections. Guess what? They are practically identical. When I thought I saw a difference, it was merely with the phrasing of a question, just a noun/verb switch. Seriously? The text itself presents information that is easy to grasp, so it is a great resource. Just wanted to shed light on the insignificant difference of the two most recent editions.

Works in place of 9th edition

My professor wanted us to have the 9th edition of this book, but okayed that I rent this out since it is only the previous edition. Found that it is almost all the same material, just rearranged. And the 2 chapters that werent the same, I was able to get from friends in the class. Also, only rent if you dont have an interest in pursuing research.
