Very insightful read.

This book ranges from in-depth discussions on various micro-endemic Acacia tress and the percentages of DMT within them, to beautiful insights on the nature of the psychedelic experience and what it shows us about simply being human . Julian's 'articulations' on psychedelics feels like it comes from a place of wildly far-out exploration and successfully meaningful integration, a rare combination. I found a deep sense of being able to relate with his insights and his (baseline) mental landscape. Somehow this man has been able to take some of the most potent doses of psychedelics I can imagine and recapitulates them into accessible wisdom about everyday life. Great Read.

A Welcome Dose of Clarity

As the title indicates, this book is composed of Julian's musings on how various psychedelics may be most efficaciously engaged and utilized. His approach is extremely pragmatic and lucid, eschewing uber-trendy pseudo-shamanic glamour in favor of a more stark and honest confrontation with the mystery of What Is.
This slim volume is worth more than a thousand Ascended Master Shamans™.
My only minor complaint is that there are a few glaring typos which should have been caught by the editor.
Essential for anyone interested in Changa and other contemporary psychedelic modalities.

Want a DIFFERENT perspective on psychedelic uses?

If you want a real-world, open-minded, easily-absorbed and well-articulated read on the use of psychedelics in a contemporary time, then this is the book for you. Encompassing traditional and modern ideals with respect (well, mostly lol) and humour, Articulations gives a great perspective from a person who seems to have a wealth of first-hand knowledge (unlike ANY mainstream media publication). I enjoyed the apparent credo of "make your OWN mind up;" this is something I believe in utmost... "think for yourself, question authority" as the late Bill Hicks put it.
The author has an easy writing style which isn't overly hampered by verbosity or "high-and-mighty arrogance" as some publishings get. Yet clearly the author knows what he's talking about in regards to various psychedelic substances. A uniquely Australian perspective is also greatly appreciated considering the potential for a healthy psychedelic culture to blossom in all aspects of future health scopes; physically, mentally, and spiritually.
